How to make an Avocado toast in six simple steps?

Intro

Now you can make a healthy breakfast with toast. Follow these six simple steps. You can make a healthy avocado toast in ten minutes!

Ingredients

1 ripe avocado, 2 slices of bread, Salt and pepper to taste Optional toppings: cherry tomatoes, radishes, red pepper flakes, lemon juice, olive oil, or poached eggs

Step 1:  Toast the Bread

Start by toasting your slices of bread. Do it until they are golden brown and crispy. You can use a toaster or a skillet for this.

Step 2:  Prepare the Avocado

While the bread is toasting, cut the ripe avocado in half. Then you remove the pit. Now you can scoop the flesh into a bowl.

Step 3:  Mash the Avocado

You can mash the avocado with a fork. You can smash it to make it smooth. If you want some chunks for texture, you can do so.

Step 4:  Season the Avocado

Add salt and pepper as per your taste. On the top, add some lemon juice. It will give an extra flavour to your toast. This will also help to prevent browning.

Step 5:  Spread on Toast

Once the bread is toasted, spread the mashed avocado. Do so evenly on each slice.

Step 6:  Add Optional Toppings

You can also add some toppings. For this you can slice some veggies. You can also add a poached egg on top for more protein.
